Contributing to InfoHub

It is not important for writers to have specialised qualifications to contribute, as the purpose of the portal is to provide a centralised online repository for common deafness information. We encourage people of all ages and cultural and social background to write InfoHub articles. Most articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet, simply by clicking the "edit this" icon.

Anyone is welcome to add information, cross-references or citations, as long as they do so within InfoHub's formatting guide and to an appropriate standard. For example, if you add information to an article, be sure to include your references in accordance with the referencing style, as unreferenced facts are subject to removal.

There is no need to worry about accidentally damaging InfoHub when adding or improving information, as other editors are always around to advise or correct obvious errors, and InfoHub's software, based on MediaWiki, allows easy reversal of editorial mistakes.
